Sandra Klack and Markus Rosendal
Sandra and Markus are members of the swing dance group The Midnight Rounders, which is sprung from love and affection for times that were. Based in Stockholm, Sweden, they perform classics such as Lindy Hop, Charleston, Jazz, Collegiate Shag and Vaudeville. In their work, they aim to keep and hone the style, crazyness, energy and feeling of the golden age.
Markus is described as a swing dancer with a personal style, full of energy and with a special love for all that vintage styling. Markus is practicing a lot of different dance styles from the swing era and they are all close to his heart. When he isn't teaching at different camps, he DJ's and runs his two own clubs; The Cotton Club and Rock´n´Roll Saturdays, which is focusing on bringin´ the good ol´ times back!
A class with Markus bring positive mood and comfortable atmosphere, as he says:
"You gotta enjoy yourself while you dance. Having fun learning will make you remember it longer and do it with more passion than ever before!"
Sandra loves to dig into old swing clips, study, learn and finally teach them. In class she is very clear and loves to talk about the “stretch”. She provides a base of confidence, from where you can grow as a dancer. She has teached all over Europe and also in Asia. Teaching and performing the swing dances is a big passion in her life and she also has a big interest in vintage fashion, hairstyle, décor and interior.
In Stockholm she and Sebastian Svensson run the swing club Royal Jazz Joint.
